I got this tablet stand to hold my 7 inch Galaxy Tab 4, however, what I did find was it did a better job holding the 10 inch Acer 2 in 1 tablet/ laptop I have. While it does open enough to hold the Tab 4 in both landscape and portrait mode, I did find that in portrait mode the Tab 4 is a bit small for the clips making it a bit more difficult to use than I personally like. I did love how it worked when using the Acer 10 inch 2 in1, worked very much better. It is made of a very sturdy plastic which makes it easy for it to be used for a long period of time. While I have not yet tried it on a tripod of yet, I look forward to doing so when I return to work. While I do like this very much, I would recommend this tablet stand for the larger size tablet or Ipad owner because it seems to fit those easier and better. I am overall happy with this and would recommend it to people as it is very helpful. The fact that I received this product free of charge or at a discounted rate had no influence on my thoughts regarding this product.
